Last year Chris bought me this adorable picture book: Star Wars: Vader’s Little Princess by Jeffrey Brown.
I had fallen in love with the first book, Darth Vader and Son, so I was super excited to read this one. And, just like the first book, I absolutely adored this new sequel.
Today, in honor of Star Wars Day, I reread the book – and fell in love all over again.
A Quick Peek at the Story
Darth Vader can be a regular dad, and now we can see his parenting skills in this adorable picture book. Watch as little Leia grows up from a cute toddler to a moody teenager and how Darth Vader handles it with the skill and precision of a Sith Lord.
My Experience With the Book
This book is every bit as irresistibly adorable as the first one. From the cute illustrations to the funny situations to the overall charm of Darth Vader trying to be a dad, it’s easy to see why this book has made its way onto my shelf. I can’t wait to read this to my kids one day, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
If you see it on sale, don’t pass it up! It’s well worth buying and should be read over and over again.
