I keep trying to get in a good drawing groove, but just when I start liking my style and getting better…well… the opposite starts to happen.
I start to hate my style and think I’ve gone a few steps backward.
Anyways, I tried my best to draw Wirt from Over the Garden Wall because I absolutely adore that show. I don’t think enough people know about it, and they really should.
I don’t have a clue about how to draw backgrounds, but I did give it an honest effort. I really need to practice them more. I think I actually like this doodle more without the background, so here it is in its simplicity.
And here’s the line art for you. I don’t know why I’m sharing it here. Maybe you can print it out and color it yourself. I bet you’ll do a much better job at it than I did.
