It’s been a while since I’ve drawn anything.
I drew this Irish Girl for St. Patrick’s Day, but that was over a month ago.
I’ve been in kind of slump lately where I don’t like anything I draw. I start sketching a few basic shapes, don’t like where it’s going, and then I delete it.
Well, I forced myself to finish this one.
I thought she turned out kind of nice, maybe? I liked the soft sunset colors, and her face seems kind of sweet. But at the same time, her expression is a little bit dull and I didn’t really pose her at all. I’m not entirely sure where I was going with her hair, or even her outfit.
It’s kind of a mess really.
But it did feel good to draw something and finish it after such a long slump. Maybe my next drawings will be a little better?
