I don’t really have much of a story behind this necklace. Mostly I’m just a fan of river rocks. I like to pick up smooth pebbles and keep them in my pockets. I usually find them later when I’m doing the wash.
I liked how pretty and yellow this particular rock was, and I thought it would make for a fun center to a necklace.
The top part of the rock squished out of the avocado pit as it dried, but the rest of the pit wrapped around the sides, so that was a pleasant surprise too. I can never quite predict how these necklaces are going to finish, but I’m happy with how this one turned out.
Anyways, keep an eye out for more necklaces! I’ve made a lot of progress on them this week.
