Alrighty, I know last week I pushed back my bread post because I just couldn’t get the recipe right. I tried my hardest, and things didn’t pan out.

Well, this week the same thing happened again.

My loaves weren’t airy enough or they didn’t rise enough or they didn’t spring up in the oven enough. One loaf was so flat that it went straight in the garbage.

And that’s okay.

I’ll just try again this week and see what happens. I’ve had a lot of stuff going on in my life lately, and I’m not entirely sure how to deal with it. So I’m just going to keep on doing my best, and take baby steps in the right direction.

I think I’ll still share some finished recipes here on my personal blog, however. I finished a few in advance, so it’s nice to have that cushion. Most of the recipes involve sourdough discard, so that’s kind of fun.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy my little bit of nothingness today. Maybe these spring pictures will make things a little bit better. I thought they were nice, though I’m still figuring out how to use my new camera.
