- In the bowl of the rice cooker, stir the sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder until well combined.
- Turn on the rice cooker. Bring the chocolate mixture to a boil for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Remove the bowl of the rice cooker from the heat. Stir in the peanut butter and the oats.
- Scoop three cookies onto a plate and chill in the fridge for 1 hour or until firm.
Notes
No bake cookies are all about timing. If you boil too long, the cookies turn out dry and crumbly. If you don’t boil for long enough, the cookies never set. I know people who like both types. I personally prefer that sweet spot in the middle, and I’ve found that 30 seconds is just right. You may need to play around with the timing of your device to achieve your desired consistency.
The Dash mini rice cooker cooks by weight. If you flip the switch to cook and it keeps flipping back to cook warm, you may need to use an oven mitt or hot pad to gently press on the bowl of the cooker to mimic the weight of rice cooking. Do not simply hold down the switch or you could damage your cooker.
