I cut this avocado pit myself, primarily with a hobby knife. To better protect the wood from warping and cracking, I polished it with beeswax and orange oil.

The necklace cord consists of durable, lightly waxed cotton cord. I tied two slip knots, so you can adjust the necklace to suit your needs. Extended, it measures 16 inches in length (about 32 inches total). Tightened, it measures about 8 inches (about 16 inches total).

To protect your necklace, I ship it in a soft velvet jewelry bag tucked inside a padded envelope.
