These are a handmade, one-of-a-kind necklaces. Cut from the pit, or stone, of an avocado, these bracelets feature a simple pattern. Although they’re not identical, these necklaces are two halves of the same stone and are each naturally beautiful. They are the perfect pair for friends who want to feel closer to nature or who have an earthy, natural style.
I cut the avocado pit myself, primarily with a hobby knife. To better protect the wood from warping and cracking, I polished it with beeswax and orange oil.
The cord consists of durable, lightly waxed cotton cord. I tied a slip knot, so you can adjust the length to suit your needs. Extended, the necklaces measure 21 inches in length (about 42 total). Tightened, they measure 10.5 inches (21 inches total).
To protect your necklaces, I ship them in a soft velvet jewelry bag tucked inside a padded envelope.
Although I designed these necklaces as a pair, you can order them separately if you only want one necklace. When you order just one necklace, you may feel a natural connection to the individual who purchases the other half. For clarity, necklace one is listed first.
These are also available to purchase on Etsy.
