This is a hand-carved, one-of-a-kind bracelet. Cut from the pit, or stone, of an avocado, this bracelet features a simple ladybug or ladybird. It’s the perfect bracelet for those who want to feel closer to nature or who have an earthy, natural style.

I cut this avocado pit myself, primarily with a hobby knife. To better protect the wood from warping and cracking, I polished it with beeswax and orange oil.

The cord consists of durable, lightly waxed cotton cord. I tied a slip knot, so you can adjust the length to suit your needs. Extended, it measures 5 inches in length (about 10 inches total). Tightened, it measures about 2.5 inches (5 inches total).

To protect your necklace, I ship it in a soft velvet jewelry bag tucked inside a padded envelope.
