Last week I shared a poison mushroom necklace with garnet stones set in the top. At about the same time I made that necklace, I made a sister carving from the same avocado pit. This poison mushroom necklace with quartz may look similar to its other half, but I like to think that I made it unique enough to attract attention on its own.
Although I made these necklaces months ago, I’m finally creating a listing for them in my Etsy shop and blog shop. They make for great friendship gifts when purchased together. But don’t hesitate to buy either poison mushroom necklace if one sticks out to you personally.
I’ve Been Pretty Busy
I took a hiatus at the end of October for a few different reasons. First, I needed a break from all the blogging I had done during the year. Don’t get me wrong, I love trying new things and blogging about them. But even I need to step away from the same old things to get a fresh perspective.
Second, I needed time with my family. I have a newborn that takes so much love and attention that I hardly have any leftover time. As soon as my schedule gives me a bit more breathing room, you can expect more unique jewelry like my poison mushroom necklace with quartz. But I have no idea when that might actually happen.
Have a Necklace in Mind?
I loved carving this little poison mushroom necklace when I had the time for it. And if you want me to make you a necklace, all you have to do is ask. I’m not a professional carver, so I do have my limits. But I am willing to work with you to make a unique piece of jewelry that’s special to you or to a family member or friend. Just send me a message through my contact me page, and I’ll get back with you as soon as I am able.
