It’s hard getting in the groove of drawing again, but I think I’m slowly pulling myself out of my uncreative funk.
The other day, I doodled this smiley girl and I liked how she turned out.
Black and white is fun for getting an idea of shading and whatnot, but it’s also a little bland. I need more color in my life, so I went ahead and colored her a bit. And I gave her some jewelry.
Alright, so I’m not great at picking colors and I still struggle with shading. Come to think of it, I don’t really understand how makeup works either, so that looks a little funny. I honestly don’t know what I’m doing.
But hey, at least she has a background now. I guess I’m done.
