These last few weeks have had some intense weather The heat wave has been rough on a lot of people, and I’ve had to keep Lily inside most days to avoid the worst of the crazy temperatures. On the days we do go outside, we go early in the morning before things get too hot.
But even though the weather has been hot, my family’s been pretty chill thanks to homemade popsicles.
These vanilla chocolate chip yogurt popsicles have been our go-to tasty treat this summer, and they’re super easy to make, too. Just stir some yogurt and some chocolate chips together, pop them in the freezer, and they’re ready to go in a a few hours!
I kept the recipe for vanilla chocolate chip popsicles super basic because I like to make things fast and fun. But they’re also pretty versatile. I bet they would be yummy with smaller dark chocolate chips, Mini M&Ms, and rainbow coated candies. Feel free to try different mixes and see what works for you!
I use these popsicles molds that I found on Amazon a few years ago because they’re good at catching drips. But feel free to use whatever popsicle molds you have on hand.
Vanilla Chocolate Chip Popsicles
- 490 Grams Vanilla Yogurt (2 Cups)
- 56 Grams Chocolate Chips (1/3 Cup)
- Mix the vanilla yogurt and chocolate chips together in a medium bowl.
- Spoon mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space to allow for expansion.
- Let chill in the freezer for at least 3 hours or until popsicles have become firm enough to remove from the molds.
